About Rosette

Rosette Jewelry is a husband and wife workshop in Los Angeles. We melt the gold, cast the setting, and set every lab-grown diamond ourselves. Every step happens at our own bench, and the piece goes from our hands to yours.

Why lab-grown

A lab-grown diamond is a diamond. Same carbon, same crystal structure, same 10 on the Mohs scale, graded on the same 4C scale by the same independent laboratories. Ours are certified by IGI, D-E in color and VVS2-VS1 in clarity.

What changes is origin and price. A lab-grown diamond forms in weeks inside a controlled facility, which strips out the cost of mining and a long supply chain. A mined pair at the weights we work in, at D-E VVS quality, would run into five figures. Because these are grown and we manufacture in house, that weight is within reach.

Solid gold, all the way through

Every piece is solid 14K gold, white or yellow, from the surface to the core. The color is the metal itself, so it stays exactly as it arrived for as long as you own it.

Solid gold takes a polish, resizes where the design allows, and repairs. It keeps its color against skin, water, and years of daily wear, which is why it is the metal heirlooms are made from.

Made for your order

Carat weight, metal, and size are chosen per order. Some combinations we hold in the workshop already; the rest are made once you buy them. Either way an order takes five to seven business days to prepare.

It also means we see every piece before it goes out. Prongs get checked, stones get checked, and the piece is inspected once more before it is packed.

Independent grading

At the carat weights we work in, independent grading is essential. Our diamonds are graded by the International Gemological Institute, which verifies carat, color, clarity, and cut. The grade comes from a third party, so you have their word for it as well as ours. The certificate is available on request and ships in the box.

We offer private appointments in Los Angeles for anyone who wants to see the diamonds in person before deciding. Photographs are honest, but a diamond in daylight is a different thing. Come and look, and decide afterwards.
