Warranty
Every Rosette piece is made by hand in our own workshop in Los Angeles. If something we made fails because of how we made it, we put it right.
What the warranty covers
Rosette Jewelry offers a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects in setting and craftsmanship, running from the date your piece is delivered. In practice that means:
- A stone that comes loose or falls out of a setting that was not damaged
- A clasp, hinge, or post that fails under normal wear
- A solder joint that separates
- Any fault in how the piece was assembled or finished
We will repair the piece, or replace it if it cannot be repaired, at no charge. We cover shipping in both directions for a warranty repair within the United States.
What it does not cover
- Normal wear, surface scratches, gradual thinning of a band, dulled polish
- Damage from impact, crushing, or chemicals
- Loss or theft, including a stone lost after visible damage to the setting
- Work carried out by another jeweler. If someone else has sized, repaired, or reset the piece, the warranty on that work ends
Things that are not defects
Because every piece is made by hand, small variations are normal: total carat weight may vary slightly from the figure listed, stone placement is set by hand and will not be mathematically identical between two pieces, and finish can differ marginally between batches. These are characteristics of handmade jewelry, not faults.
Certification
Our diamonds are IGI certified, graded by the International Gemological Institute at D–E color and VVS2–VS1 clarity. If you would like the IGI documentation to ship with your piece, ask us and we will include it. Email info@rosettejewelry.com with your order number, before or after your piece arrives.
Making a claim
Email info@rosettejewelry.com with your order number and a clear photograph of the problem. We will tell you what we think has happened and, if it is a warranty matter, send you a prepaid label.
After the first year
We do not stop caring about a piece after twelve months. Bring anything back to us at any point and we will quote for the repair, usually at cost for something small like a re-tightened setting.
Resizing
Full eternity bands are set with diamonds around the entire circumference and cannot be resized the way a plain band can, because changing the size changes the number of stones. Half eternity bands, plain sections, and bracelets can usually be adjusted. If a piece arrives in the wrong size, treat it as an exchange under the refund policy rather than an alteration. That is nearly always the better outcome.
