Frequently Asked Questions
Lab-Grown Diamonds
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds. Both are pure crystallized carbon and both rate 10 on the Mohs hardness scale.
They are graded on the same 4C scale, cut, color, clarity, and carat, by the same independent laboratories. The only differences are origin and price.
Yes. A standard diamond tester reads thermal and electrical conductivity, and a lab-grown diamond returns the same result as a mined diamond because it is the same material.
Distinguishing origin requires specialized laboratory equipment, not a handheld tester. Moissanite and cubic zirconia, by contrast, are different minerals and behave differently.
IGI is the International Gemological Institute, an independent laboratory that grades diamonds. An IGI certificate documents a stone's cut, color, clarity, and carat weight, and states that it is lab-grown.
Certification matters because the grade comes from an independent third party. Our diamonds are IGI certified.
A lab-grown diamond forms in weeks inside a controlled facility, which strips out the cost of mining and a long supply chain.
The result is the same material at a significantly lower price for equivalent size and quality.
Metals
Yes. 14K gold is 58.3% pure gold alloyed with harder metals, which makes it more scratch- and dent-resistant than 18K or 22K while still being solid gold throughout.
That balance of durability and gold content is why 14K is the standard choice for pieces worn daily.
Both start as the same gold. White gold is alloyed with pale metals and finished with rhodium plating for a bright silver-white surface; yellow gold keeps gold's natural warm tone through a copper and zinc alloy.
They are equally durable. The choice is colour preference.
Occasionally. White gold's rhodium plating wears gradually over years of daily wear and can be re-plated by a jeweller to restore the bright white finish.
Yellow gold keeps its colour for good, because the colour comes from the alloy itself.
Solid 14K gold. The metal is the same all the way through, surface to core.
Gold-plated and gold-filled pieces wear down to the base metal over time. Solid gold keeps its colour for good.
Sizing and Choosing
Total carat weight (TCW or ctw) is the combined weight of every diamond in a piece, not the size of one stone. One carat equals 0.2 grams.
A 5-carat total weight tennis bracelet contains dozens of smaller stones adding up to 5 carats.
Measure your wrist and add roughly half an inch for comfortable movement. A 7 inch bracelet suits most average wrists, 6.5 inches for petite, and 7.5 inches or more for larger wrists.
Full charts are on our Size Guide.
A 16 inch necklace sits at the base of the neck, 18 inches falls just below the collarbone, and 20 inches rests at the top of the chest.
For layering, choose lengths at least two inches apart so each piece sits clear of the one above it.
Measure the inside diameter of a ring that already fits and compare it to our chart: a US size 6 is 16.5mm across, size 7 is 17.3mm, and size 8 is 18.1mm.
If you fall between sizes, size up.
Full eternity bands generally cannot be resized, because diamonds run the entire circumference and cutting the band would disturb the settings.
Order your exact size. A half eternity band, which has stones across the top only, can usually be resized.

Warranty and Care
A 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturing defects in setting and craftsmanship, starting from your delivery date.
It does not cover normal wear, accidental damage, loss, theft, or work done by another jeweller. Contact us with your order number and a photo to make a claim.
Clean gently with a soft cloth, store each piece separately to prevent scratching, and remove jewelry before swimming, showering, or applying lotion and perfume.
Have prongs and settings checked periodically so stones stay secure.
